项目摘要

日本、中国(北京1、韓国(ソウル)、3力国の家族と就業について量的データ分析を行う。またこうした量的調査を補完するフォーカス・グループ・ディスカッションを北京において、また中国は都市と農村の格差が大きいため北京調査を補完する北京に程近い農村地帯で河北省農村調査(500サンプル)を実施し、出稼ぎの状況および仕事経験、夫婦の役割分担、子育てについて、収入構成、価値規範などについて北京やソウルと比較できる形で調査を実施した。同じ東アジアとして儒教文化、親孝行文化など底流として共通の価値規範もあるが、雇用に対する政策が北京と日韓とでは大きく異なる。北京の量的調査には、文化大革命を経験した世代と改革開放世代とが含まれる。市場経済化は北京の男女の働き方を変えてはいるが、依然、北京対目韓という形で女性の就業行動が大きく異なるが、質的調査から仕事と家庭の履歴を語ってもらった。なお中国でも農村部ではより伝統的な役割分担や価値規範も見られる点では、中国都市部と農村部は大きく異なることが河北省農村調査から示された。さらに日本については27-33歳大卒女性の仕事履歴のインタビュー調査も行ない、今でも出産離職が多い日本の大卒女性のキャリア形成について、質的分析を行った。
