项目摘要

基盤研究(C)では,数年前から,冊子体の研究成果報告書は提出する必要はなくなったが,筆者は,これまでの研究成果をまとめる意味で,現在,次のような構成の研究成果報告書を作成印刷中である。はじめに (文部省科研費研究「討議民主主義の社会学的考察」の概要)序章本報告書の構成と見通し第1部社会的選択理論第2章コンドルセ『多数決論』の研究 : 陪審定理と啓蒙思想第3章コンドルセとアロー : 一般可能性定理をどう理解するか第4章可能性定理の可能性 : センの理論の意義と限界第2部討議民主主義の思想第5章社会的選択理論から討議民主主義論へ第6章コミュニケーション的転回への出立 : 1960年代のハーバーマス第7章ロールズにおける正義の論証 : 合理的選択と公共的合意第8章米国における討議民主主義運動第9章米国コミュニタリアンの民主主義観 : アミタイ・エチオーニの場合この構成にそって,本研究の概要を紹介する。本研究では,討議民主主義をアローの一般可能性定理がしめした投票による社会的選択の困難を克服する試みとして整理した。また,この観点からだけでは整理しきれない討議民主主義の思想的含意について,ハーバーマスの討議理論と,ロールズの公共理性の概念を検討した。こうした理論的研究とあわせ,本研究では地域社会での公共討議の促進をめざす米国の討議民主主義団体の活動を検討した。1990年代以降,これらの団体の活動では,ハーバーマスやロールズの影響がしだいに低下し,アメリカ産の思想という面が強いコミュニタリアニズムとの親近性があらわになる。本研究は,エチオーニのコミュニタリアニズムの思想を検討し,コミュニタリアニズムと討議民主主義運動の限界をone Americaをめざす統合論的視点の限界に求めた。

This paper discusses the general possibility theorem of democracy and tries to overcome the difficulties of voting in society. This paper discusses the implications of democratic thought and the concept of public rationality. This paper discusses the promotion of public discussion in regional society and the activities of democratic discussion organizations in China. Since the 1990s, the activities of these groups have been negative, and the influence of these groups has been low, and the thoughts of these groups have been strong. This study is aimed at exploring the limits of democratic movement from the viewpoint of integration theory.
