Estrogen receptor α(ERα)および human epidermal growth factor receptor-2(HER2)いずれも陰性の乳癌について検討し、細胞周期関連転写因子E2Fの高発現が認められることを明らかにした。E2F-5遺伝子変異(E2F-5遺伝子点突然変異解析、E2F-5遺伝子増幅)の有無について検討し、E2F-5陽性乳癌の臨床病理学的特徴を明らかにした。
