项目摘要

本研究は,本来の動物の命とふれあい,大切な時間を生きている緩和ケア病棟に入院している患者のQuality Of Lifeを高めることを目標とし,入院中であっても動物とのふれあいを希望している患者に,ふれあいの希望を叶え,動物のいる環境を提供し,ふれあいにおける患者への効果を見出し,動物にいる入院環境,動物を用いた看護援助のあり方の検討を行った。今年度も平成18年度同様,静岡県静岡市獣医師会(ひだまり倶楽部)が月1回,動物ふれあい活動を行っている静岡県立総合病院緩和ケア病棟で調査をした。平成18年7月から平成20年3月まで,18名の患者から研究協力が得られた。調査は,動物ふれあい前後において,バイタルサイン(体温,脈拍,血圧)とフェイススケール評価を行った。また,動物ふれあい後に患者の動物に対する思いをインタビューした。バイタルサインについては,動物ふれあい前後で,ほとんど変化が見られなかった。しかし,フェイススケールにおいては,動物ふれあい前より,動物ふれあい後にすべての患者が「プラスの気分」となった。インタビューにおいても,入院する前の動物と過ごした生活の思い出,家で待っている伴侶動物のこと,病院における動物とのふれあいのこと,病院における伴侶動物との面会や同居のことについて,詳細に話していただいた。平成19年度は,11th International Conference on Human-Animal Interactionsと日本がん看護学会にて,成果を発表した。今後は,この研究を継続するとともに,これらのデータをまとめ,また,文献からヒトと動物の関係,先人たちの思想も含め,論文とし,投稿していく。

In the same year of 2018, the Shizuoka Municipal Medical Association () conducted a survey on animal health activities in the Shizuoka Municipal General Hospital. In July 2018 and March 2019, 18 patients were selected for collaborative research.
