インターネットアンケート実施:文化遺産保存の実務・研究・教育の国内関係者に対しインターネットアンケートを実施した。保存教育の必要性・有用性が日本においても認識されているが、実務と教育を両立させる社会環境が整っていない実情が浮かび上がり、具体的ニーズ内容のデータを得ることが出来た。UNITAR世界遣産保存管理研修取材:国連機関UNITAR主催の世界遺産保全管理国際研修にオブザーバー参加し、実務者対象の文化遺産保存教育に関し、具体的な事例を通して有益な内容や研修方法に関する材料と示唆を得た。ニューメキシコ大学文化遺産保存フィールド演習取材:ニューメキシコ大学・東京大学・明治学院大学合同の日本における文化遺産保存のフィールド演習にオブザーバー参加し、実務経験のない学生を対象とする保存教育の内容・方法に関するデータと示唆を得た。ハワイ大学文化遺産保存プログラム取材:前年度に引き続き、ハワイ大学Historic Preservation Programの保存教育の内容・方法を参与観察・インタビューによって資料・データを得た。香港大学建築文物保護課程の研究のまとめ:前年度に取材調査を実施した香港大学の保存プログラムの教育内容について分析をおこない、成果を論文として発表した。成果の一部は下記である:日本の高等教育機関は、実務者を対象とした文化遺産保存教育を今後展開すべきであるとともに、実務経験のない学生に対しては部分的に異なった教育カリキュラムを用意すべきである。海外のように、ディプロマ、修了証書など、学士・修士・博士以外の多様な学位を日本の教育機関においても用意し、特に社会人受講者/実務者の多様なニーズと実状に応えるべきである。今後の日本の都市と地方のまちづくり/文化遺産保存を担うことの出来る理論と技術能力を備えた人材育成の具体的手段として保存教育は位置づけられるべきである。
