カトリック福岡教区史料の分析を進めた。馬渡島教会堂・呼子教会堂に関する論文が日本建築学会計画系論文集に掲載された。馬渡島・呼子教会堂はいずれも1929年に竣工した。1927年の福岡教区設立後初めての本格的な教会堂建設事業である。これらの教会堂はいずれも既存教会堂を移築して新教会堂としているが、その理由は経費節減に加え、明治期以来、宣教師と信徒が強いこだわりを持ち続けたゴシック様式のリブ・ヴォールト天井の教会堂を実現することが目的であったと指摘した。学会から本論文の英訳を薦められたため、この論文の英訳を進めた。福岡教区史料のうち、カトリック福岡司教館に関する史料分析をおこない、また現存する司教館の建築調査を実施した。福岡教区では戦前の建築は非常に少ないが、司教館は1933年竣工の数少ない現存する教区の戦前建築である。調査の結果、増改築はあったものの、当初の平面計画・仕上げが多く残されていることが明らかになった。今後、この成果を公表すべく、論文あるいは報告書としてまとめてゆく。九州大学中央図書館職員の助言を得て、福岡教区史料の目録フォーマット作成を進めた。他研究者との連携の取り組みを進め、今後共同研究をおこなうための研究チーム構築をおこなった。また、今後の史料整理・分析に関する意見交換をおこなった。福岡教区で複数の教会堂を設計施工した人物に関する情報・資料を関係者から提供を受け、研究に活用した。
