二年目となる本年度は、前年度に行った文献調査および聞き取り調査による先行事例研究と、試作を行った入力系インターフェースの試作を踏まえ、入力インターフェースの改善と、音響生成アルゴリズムの開発を行い、実際の作品制作での応用を行った。入力系インターフェースに関して、昨年度はカナダinfusion System社の『iCube System』のみを用いて開発していたが、近年になり新しいセンサーの入力システムが複数リリースされたため、この中からアメリカMaking Things社の『Make Controller Kit』およびカナダPhidget社の『Phidget Interface Kit』を用い、新たにセンサー入力部のシステム開発を行うとともに、複数種のセンサーを用い、インターフェースの改善を行った。また音響生成部に関しては、特に研究者自身の作品制作への応用に主眼を置き、複数の音響生成アルゴリズムの開発と、DSPによる音響処理の開発を行い、その評価を行った。開発したシステムは、10月以降合計4回のライブ・コンサートにおいて実地で使用し、システムの安定性/音響表現の柔軟性/現場での使用感などの見地から評価を行った。各回の評価を元に、システムの改善をその都度行い、前年度より安定性が高く、また音楽的表現の見地がら柔軟性の高いシステムの開発を行った。
