项目摘要

本研究では平成19年度に以下の4つの活動(成果)があった。1つめとして、文献レビューを実施し、既往文献の整理および要約をおこなった。2つめとして、平成19年6月に原宿において「春期・夏期」調査(フィールドリサーチ)をおこなった。具体的には、建物形態の状況調査(描写およびスケッチ)と来街者の行動観察調査を実施し、さらに東京のまちづくり専門家へのインタビュー調査も並行して実施した。3つめとして、展覧会「Made in Harajuku」を原宿現地にて平成19年6月26日〜7月2日に実施した。当展覧会への来場者とのコミュニケーションを通じて、原宿地区(特に「裏原」地区)についての解釈を深めることができた。4つめは、研究成果の公表である。学術雑誌記事「Shophouse and Thai Urbanism:Towards a software approach」において、バンコクのファッション最先端地である「Siam Square」を対象として、タイの都市様式(アーバニティ)の原理として、既成市街地の物的環境と「shophouse」(東南アジアの都市に存在する商業機能を合わせ持つ「長屋」)とについて論じた。本論ではシンガポールを比較対象とし、shophouseを主として物的環境として考慮しているシンガポールに対して、タイ・アーバニティの中では、よりソフトウェア的な存在として位置づけられている点が明らかとなった。また、書籍「Harajuku Urban Stage-Set Q&A」では、東京のファッション最先端地の1つである原宿は、物的・地理的・社会的複雑さが特徴であり、地区自身が「劇場の舞台装置」にメタファーできると捉えて「Urban Stage-Set」と名付けている。

They are registered as "Harajuku Urban Stage-Set Quan A", "Beijing", "Harajuku" in the first place, replication in the geographical and social aspects of things, and the location of the region itself.
