環境に配慮した生産システム構築手法について、既存手法の整理・体系化を進めるとともに、システム構築・評価のための手法の統合化を検討した。技術の現状と問題点を把握するために機械加工システムについてエネルギーや資源の消費についての実測を行い、省エネルギーや資源リサイクルに配慮した実生産システムの分析を進めて、システム構築・評価手法を改良すると共に、標準化や実用化への問題点を検討した。
