项目摘要

銀行と資産市場の併存を一般的なモデルから記述するため,リスクシェアリング外部性の概念を構築し分析をおこなった.銀行や資産市場の存在意義は異時点間における資源の再配分とリスクシェアリング機会の供給であると考えられているが,銀行と資産市場が代替的に併存するときに,資産価格,経済成長および社会厚生にどのような影響を及ぼすかについての分析をおこなった.交換経済にリスクシェアリング外部性を導入すると非市場参加者の存在(Mankiw&Zeldes1991)についての内因的説明を与えるだけでなく,資産価格パズルとしてく知られる株式超過収益率パズル(Mehra&Prescott 1985)及び安全利子率パズル(Weil 1989)を解清の方向へ導く可能性があることを明らかにした.また,従来の理論では非市場参加者の存在によって社会厚生を下げる可能性について指摘されてきたが,生産経済にリスクシェアリング外部性を導入することによって非市場参加者の存在は社会厚生を必ずしも下げないことを示した.得られたインプリケーショシとして,非市場参加者を説明する際,伝統的には参入コストや固定的な取引コストの存在によって内因的説明を与えてきたが,本研究では市場参加に伴う追加的リスクとリスクプレミアムとのトレードオフが存在し,均衡では市場参加者と銀行預金者が併存しうることを理論的に説明した.この研究は国際学術誌Journal of Economics and Businessにおける掲載を受理された.
