项目摘要

本年度は、室町幕府と官位に関する問題として、前年度論文として上梓した「室町幕府の官位叙任」の中で言及した、幕府の官途奉行についてさらに詳しく検討した。幕府の官途奉行は十五世紀半ばから室町幕府の滅亡まで摂津氏がほぼ独占的に行ってきたが、足利義尚期に一時的に二階堂政行が官途奉行になることがあり、その意義を考える上でほぼ同時期の摂津氏の当主である摂津政親と対比する形で論じ、それを「二階堂政行と摂津政親」と題した論文とした。これは2010年内発刊予定の論集『中世政治史の研究』に載録予定である。次に、武家の故実書から官位について関連する記述を検討する過程で、「政所方引付」に所収されている結城合戦に関する新出史料を見出し、その紹介と、史料からわかる新事実及び結城合戦が起こる前後の関東の政治状況と、それに対する室町幕府の対応などについて明らかにした。また官途状・加冠状・一字状に関する研究として、各施設・機関の所蔵する文書の調査を行い、それまでに収集したデータの補完を行った。これらの調査によって、今まで収集してきた官途状・加冠状・一字状の計約一万二千数百のデータを、発給した大名・領主の家別に、発給者・年月日・署名・宛所・内容・形式・出典などの項目を目録としてまとめ、『全国官途状・加冠状・一字状目録』という題で日本史史料研究会から研究叢書として2010年5月に発刊する。従来ではあっても単一大名のみの目録しかなかったので、この発刊により全国の官途状・加冠状・一字状の全貌が明らかにされる点で重要である。そして『寛政重修諸家譜』に記載されている17世紀以降の大名・旗本の官途を抽出する作業も行い、それをもとに近世の武家における官途認識などを探るための考察をする予定である。
