金融市場では、伝統的な金融理論モデルでは説明できないアノマリーやパズルが存在する。ファイナンス研究では、これらの性質を説明できるような、より洗練されたモデルを構築が求められている。本研究ではロス回避性エージェントモデルを構築し、オプション価格付け理論と行動ファイナンス理論との結び付けを行うとともに、行動ファイナンス理論の新たな方向性として認知神経科学分野との連携を模索した。オプション理論では、実際に観測されたオプション価格からBlack and Scholesモデルで算出したインプライドボラティリティは、異なる権利行使価格に対して、SmileやSmirkの形状になる。これらのインプライドボラティリティに関する事実は、これまで、Black and Scholesモデルを修正しより適切なオプション価格付けモデルを探索する上で非常に重要なベンチマークとなっており、これらの価格付けに関する現象をモデルに取り込むことができれば、オプション価格をより正確に予測することが可能となる。そこで、構築したロス回避性が存在する場合のエージェントベースモデルに対し、外生的に価格過程を与えるのではなく、投資家の意思決定から導出された需給関係によって内生的に価格過程が決定されるようにした。これによって、インプライドボラティリティに関する事実が、どのような要因によって強調されるのかを推測することが可能となり、これまでの外生的に原資産価格を与えるような多くのオプション価格付けモデルでは説明し得なかった、ロス回避度の上昇といった心理的な要因や市場の流動性の欠乏といった市場要因がインプライドボラティリティに関する事実を強調するということを明らかにした。さらに、本研究の成果の応用として、構築したモデルの妥当性を、行動ファイナンス理論の新たな方向性として注目されている認知神経科学分野の見地からも検証した。
