本年度は本研究課題の最終年度であるため、調査研究を進める一方、学会発表および論文投稿による研究成果の公表にも重点を置いた。第一に、雲岡石窟における「西方影響」の一例として、凉州仏教と雲岡石窟の関係、特に交脚菩薩像の図像の影響関係について、第2回名古屋美術史研究会で口頭発表を行った。翌月の第53回東方学者会議(東京会議)において、上記の問題をより発展させた内容での口頭発表を行い、従来雲岡石窟の初期の造営と考えられてきた五大仏窟(第20〜16窟)において、交脚菩薩像の図像に段階的な変遷が認められることを指摘し、分期・編年の再検討を行った。第二に、雲岡石窟における「中国化」問題の一環として、仏像着衣が一斉に中国式に変化することで知られる雲岡第6窟を取り上げ、本尊と説話図による図像プログラムの解釈を集中的に行った。その成果の一部として、第6窟の仏伝図像を扱った論文を『美学美術史研究論集』第23号(名古屋大学大学院文学研究科美学美術史研究室発行)に発表した。同論文では先行研究において主題が明確にされていなかった第6窟の仏伝図像について、本生説話「シュヤーマ本生」図の図像の影響を受けて創出された可能性を指摘し、一連の仏伝図像にみられる主題選択の特殊性から、第6窟の造営主についても言及した。また河南省から河北省にかけて点在する仏教石窟寺院の現地調査を行い、現地において写真撮影や線図・見取り図の作成を行った。
