项目摘要

カンボジアのチャームに関する情報は、特に島嶼部東南アジア地域との交流を考える上で、マレー世界およびイスラームを対象とする研究者から求められているが、『王朝年代記』の記述でさえ、きちんと引用可能な形で紹介されたことはない。そこで、『王朝年代記』の記述と他の同時代史料を比較・分析し、「『カンボジア王朝年代記』の中のチャーム・チュヴィエ」という研究ノートにまとめた。またカンボジアのムスリム・コミュニティーと政治権力との関係は、カンボジアの王権は異民族・異文化に寛容であったといわれているのみで、具体的にどのような交渉を持ってきたのかは分析されてこなかった。そのため、カンボジアの国立公文書館が所蔵する、トボーン・クモム地方(メコン河東岸、現コムポン・チャーム州内)キエン・ロミエト村のチャーム人イスラーム宗教指導者の後継者選定をめぐる訴訟文書を翻訳・解題し、分析を加えたものを、「プーム・キエン・ロミエト(カエト・トボーン・クモム)のハーキム任命騒動-プノム・ペン国立公文書館所蔵文書No.20811の分析-」という研究ノートにまとめた。これらは2008年秋を締切とする雑誌への投稿を予定している。さらにカンボジア語雑誌『カンプチア・スーリヤ』に掲載された、2人のカンボジア人仏教学者による、1928年と1933年の仏領コーチシナ旅行記の解読を終えた。仏領コーチシナは、現在はベトナム領に含まれているが、カンボジアのナショナリズムが失地として回復を叫んでいる地域である。他の同時代史料と比較検討し、20世紀前半におけるこの地域とプノム・ペンとの交流の諸相を明らかにして、2008年度中に論文としてまとめあげたい。
