项目摘要

In this study, to examine the color-related specificity of laser absorption at various wavelengths, we irradiated filter paper, which had been stained with red, blue, green, and purple caries-detecting solution (CDS), with a laser, measured the energy from the laser penetrating the filter paper using a laser energy sensor, and calculated the rate of absorption.In addition to commercially available red and blue CDS, we prepared purple and green experimental CDS, and used them in this experiment. One drop of the CDS was placed on Qualitative filter paper (thickness: 0.26mm), and spontaneously dried. Then, we measured the energy penetrating the filter paper using a laser power meter. In this study, we used a P-LASER^< (R)> diode laser generator, an Erwin AdvErL^< (R)> Er:YAG laser generator, and a Panalas^< (R)> CO5Σ CO_2 laser generator. We calculated the absorption rate of staining-related irradiation energy, regarding values obtained by laser irradiation without the filter paper as controls. The data were statistically analyzed using one-way variance analysis and Scheffe's test (n=3).Green showed the highest absorption rate of the diode laser, followed by blue, purple, and red. There were significant differences between the absorption values for red and those for blue and green (p<0.01). Green showed the highest rate of absorption of the Er:YAG laser, followed by blue, purple, and red. Purple showed the highest rate of absorption of the CO_2 laser, followed by green, red, and blue. Neither the Er:YAG nor CO_2 laser showed any significant differences in their absorption rates among the colors.These findings suggest that caries staining with blue or green CDS for diode laser treatment facilitates selective removal.
