(1)二極化の理論労働時間分布でみると、週平均労働時間が60時間を越える労働者が増加するー方で、週35時間未満のパートタイム労働者も増加し、労働時間の二極化が顕著にみられる。共著者の工藤助教授(北海道大学)と共に、労働時間の二極化の発生メカニズムの解明に取り組んだ。論文は完成し(タイトル:Employment and Hours of Work)、京都大学、名古屋大学、東北大学、大阪府立大学のセミナーや日本経済学会やEconometric Societyの学会で報告した。現在投稿中である。(2)マッチングの実証分析日本におけるマッチング・プロセスは本当にランダム・マッチングで特徴付けられているのか。それともそれ以外のメカニズムでマッチングが決まっているのだろうか。これはこれまで長年研究してきた分野の1つである。論文のタイトルは、Matching function for the Japanese labour market: randomor stock-flow?でBulletin of Economic Researchに掲載される予定である。(3)労災と労働安全衛生の実証分析労働市場の逼迫度と企業の安全衛生に対する取り組みの関係を理論的と実証的で分析した。一般的には、景気と労働災害者数とは正比例の関係にあると考えられるが、データを俯瞰する限り必ずしもそうとはいえない。このメカニズムを考察する。初稿は完成し、海外の学会に投稿中である。論文のタイトルは、The Determinant of Capital for Occupational Safety and Health in a Search-Matching Model.
