项目摘要

90年代末以降急拡大したアメリカの経常収支赤字が今後縮小するとしても、名目ドル相場急落の可能性は低い。その理由は、(1)為替相場変動の輸入物価への浸透効果が近年低下したこと、(2)アメリカの場合、輸出入の相対価格に対する感応度と消費の金利変化に対する感応度がともに小さいことの二つである。また経常収支赤字が株価バブルにより引き起こされた場合、バブル崩壊後、急激に赤字が縮小する可能性がある。アメリカの経常収支赤字拡大がITバブルと住宅バブルを伴った点を考えると、今後赤字が反転する可能性は十分にある。

In the late 1990s, the current account deficit declined sharply, and the probability of a sharp decline in the nominal phase field was low. The reasons for this are: (1) the permeability of the input material due to the phase field variation has decreased in recent years;(2) the sensitivity of the input material due to the phase field variation has decreased; and (3) the sensitivity of the output material due to the phase field variation has decreased.
