実際空間と立体視による空間という2種類の空間を用いてそれぞれの空間内での視覚的注意特性について検討された.注意を向けるための手がかりの提示時間の長短によって反応に違いがみられ,観察者動態で,手がかりの提示時間が長い場合には「遠くから近く」が「近くから遠く」よりも反応時間が短くなった.また,立体視空間においては,遠近のいずれの空間においても課題が複雑な場合には課題が単独の場合と比べて反応時間が遅延することが示された.
