项目摘要

本研究は、時間・空間情報に関するヒトの学習事態において、回顧的推論、特に逆行阻止の現象が生じうるか、またどういったメカニズムでこうした想像が生じるのかに関して考察を加えることを目的としている。コンピュータ画面上に作成した3次元迷路上に、複数のランドマークと隠されたゴールを設定した。実験参加者は、統制群・隠蔽群・阻止群・逆行群止群に分けられ、ランドマークの位置からゴール位置を推論するよう求められた。テストの結果、単一のランドマークに基づいてゴール位置を探索する統制群において最も誤反応が少なく、また迅速なゴールへの到達が見られたが、2つのランドマークが存在する状況で訓練を受け一方のランドマークが取り除かれた状況,隠避群では誤反応が増加することが示された。阻止群、逆行阻止群においても同樣に誤反応の増加が見られ、刺激間競合や回顧的推論が本実験事態においても生じることが示された。本結果から、ヒトは動物と同樣に空間的ランドマークに関しても古典的条件づけ理論で説明が可能な刺激間競合を示すことが明らかとなった。また、回顧的推論を示したことは、既存の古典的条件つげ理論にある種の修正を迫るものであると考えられる。現在の学習理論のうち、Rescorla-Wagner理論などの獲得モデルでは、回顧的推論は説明することができず、修正版獲得モデルや反応モデルが仮定するメカニズムがヒトの空間学習においては有効な説明である可能が示された。
