本研究の目的は、家族崩壊後の子どもの類似する社会化パターンを社会学的実証研究において解明することである。家族崩壊ついては多様性を指摘する研究が多く、類似性について解明を試みた研究は皆無であった。また子ども期の家族崩壊経験が成人期にまで及ぼす影響を解明しようとした研究も非常に乏しい。そこで本研究では、家族崩壊経験者に対する長期的面接調査および参与観察によって実証データを蓄積し、その分析を課題に設定した。本年度、実施した調査・研究は以下の通りである。調査研究1)面接調査による生活史蒐集:前年度に引き続き、子ども期に家族崩壊を経験した成人・子どもに対する面接調査を行い、生活史を蓄積した。特に今年度は、家族崩壊後、家族再統合を図る母子への面接を行った。調査研究2)参与観察;児童養護施設にて参与観察を実施した(平均3回/月で実施)。本年度は特に、進学・就職前の子ども15名の参与観察を1年間を通して行い、フィールドノーツを蓄積した。理論研究3)上記調査と並行して、家族再統合が困難な家族・子どもに関する問題を児童福祉論・スティグマ論の視点から研究を行った。その結果、家族崩壊後の子どもの社会化過程に関するデータを蒐集できた。特に、家族崩壊という経験が子どもの日常生活場面において如何なる不安や社会問題を強いるのか、またその対応に用いる方法の類似点が実証的に解明された。更に、家族崩壊後のアフターケアにおいて、青年期における社会的機関やサービスの重要性についての知見を得ることができた。
