遠方のIa型超新星と呼ばれる天体の観測から、宇宙にはダークエネルギーと呼ばれる、宇宙膨張を加速させる未知の成分が存在すると考えられている。このダークエネルギーの物理的実体を明らかにするために、宇宙膨張だけでなく非一様性の進化にも着目し、モデルによって非一様性にどのような違いが現れるかを明らかにした。また、非一様性の進化の度合いを表すエントロピーについて考察し、この量が宇宙の進化とともに時間的に増大するかどうかについて調べ、その条件を明らかにした。

A distant Type Ia supernova is called a celestial body, a cosmic expansion is called an acceleration, and an unknown component exists. The physical reality of this phenomenon is clear, the universe expands, and the evolution of non-uniformity is obvious. The evolution of the universe and the evolution of time are closely related to the evolution of the universe.
