In this study, as the effect of intergeneration and exchange among generations based on it over three years, through intergeneration of an area in Osaka city, a complex facility which children and old men live together ("Taku-yourousho"), a comfortable place for inhabitants, and a dementia elderly-people institution, it turned out to be as follows. Namely, for the effect of intergeneration, a child got into habits of life and a sympathy ability to others (especially, elderly-people), while elderly-people could show their ability of child-care support for a person bringing up a child (especially, a mother), so-called "power of social grandmother and grandfather", including retrieving a reason for living and pride.

在本研究中，以代际效应和代际交流为基础，通过大阪市某地区的代际效应，儿童和老人共同生活的综合设施（“taku - youousho”），居民的舒适场所和痴呆症老人机构，结果如下。即在代际效应下，孩子养成了生活习惯和对他人（尤其是老人）的同情能力，而老人则表现出对抚养孩子的人（尤其是母亲）的育儿支持能力，即所谓的“社会外公外婆的力量”，包括找回活着的理由和自豪感。
