河道内の樹林化の予測を行うために、現地調査より求めた、樹木個体の形態に関するアロメトリー関係より樹木個体の生長モデルを作成し、さらに、自己間引き、枯死率、萌芽率から個体密度の予測モデルを作成した. さらに、それを実際の河川の樹林化予測に適用した.
