この研究は視野狭窄者の危険接触事故を未然に防ぐための視野合成システムの構築である。2007 年度では、危険物体の検出と動きに注目し、何が見つけやすく、どれくらいの時間で見つけられるのかを実験し、評価した。その結果、危険な色、大きさ、形などを特定した。実験に基づき、システムを構築した。2008 年度では、MPEG の動画圧縮手法を用いて移動物体の検出を行った。また、移動物体の表示は広角カメラで縮小表示とした。縮小画像の大きさも実験で特定した。リアルタイムで移動物体を提示でき、一応の評価が得られた。

This study aims to prevent exposure accidents in people with narrow vision and to construct systems for vision synthesis.
