これまで我々は,熱放散反応に性周期・性差が存在することを報告してきた.本研究ではそのメカニズムを,1)皮膚の温度感受性(求心性入力の指標),2)軸索反射性発汗(遠心性の出力の指標),3)直接刺激性発汗(末梢効果器の指標)から検討した.1)2)3)は性周期で修飾されず,女性は男性より2)3)が抑制されるものの,1)が鋭敏であった.男女とも1)は運動トレーニングで修飾されないが,2)3)の機序は改善され,その改善度は2)が女性で,3)が男性で顕著だった.
