项目摘要

本研究では、北ルソン山地のボントック族、イフガオ族、カリンガ族における中間集団形成の様態を、文化フェスティバルの社会人類学的な野外調査によって明らかにした。それらの比較を通して、基層文化の差異や地方自治体の観光政策への対応の差異などが、観光を契機とした文化の客体化に及ぼす影響について検討した。その結果、複合社会を対象として、エスニシティや観光文化、文化フェスティバルなど、近年、文化人類学の応用面で多くの関心を集めている中間系に属する現象について「複合社会の三角柱モデル」という新たな構造モデルを構築することができた。
