项目摘要

本研究では、インキュベーション施設を調査対象としながら、起業家とインキュベーション、あるいは起業家間の関係がどのような形で起業家活動やキャリア形成に影響を及ぼすかについて、半構造インタビュー調査に基づきながら分析をおこなった。その結果、インキュベーション施設による支援が産業クラスター形成による地域に根ざした濃密な企業間関係の構築を目的としているものの、起業家が自分の個々のビジネスを安定化、発展させていくことが第一義的な目的である以上、インキュベーション施設によるクラスター形成の目的に反する起業家が数多く存在することが確認された。さらにインキュベーション施設の目的に同調する起業家も、一枚岩的な理念の共有がおこなわれていないことが明らかになった。とりわけ、資源動員の場としてインキュベーションを活用する事例が多く、グループ化によって地域内で新たな秩序を形成していく企業はわずかであった。
