本研究では、年金基金や投資信託といった機関投資家が個人投資家と企業を繋げる資本市場のガバナンス構造にどのような影響を与えるかについて実証分析を行った。その結果、以下の主な結論を得た。第1、機関投資家は、銀行や保険会社と違って、純粋の投資対象として銘柄を選別し、情報生産の役割を果たしている。第2、機関投資家が投資している企業には経営業績の改善が見られ、この改善は、機関投資家がその企業のコーポレート・ガバナンスにおいて大きな役割を果たしていることを示唆している。

This study analyzes the influence of pension fund, investment trust, institutional investor, individual investor and enterprise on the structure of capital market. The main conclusions are as follows. 1. Institutional investors, banks, insurance companies, pure investment targets, brand selection, and information production.
