本研究では, バランスト・スコアカード(Balanced Scorecard ; BSC)が組織内において果たす新たな機能側面を明らかにすることを目的に, 組織内の関係性における「Distrustの合理化」を通じたTrust向上モデルにもとづき, BSCの「Distrust合理化」機能に関するモデルを構築し, BSCが組織内においてTrustの形成・維持・向上に一定の役割を果たしていることを指摘した。そして, 東京証券取引所第一部上場企業を対象としたアンケート調査をとおして, 「Distrustの合理化」を通じたTrust向上モデルを検証するとともに, BSCの導入実態ならびにBSCの導入目的と導入効果について明らかにしている。
