项目摘要

本研究は、加速器中のイオンビームに対し、電子ビーム冷却をおこなうことにより、ビーム構造がひものように揃う相転移をおこさせ、ビームの質を飛躍的に改善しようとするものである。2007年度には、京都大学において世界で初めてその兆候をとらえた、陽子ビームのOrdering相転移を精密に計測し、分子動力学シミュレーションとの比較検証をおこなった。2008年度には、ビーム分布を横方向に制御することにより、相転移点での粒子数を制御する実験をおこない、相転移温度周辺での挙動の変化を観測することに成功した。

This study aims at improving the quality of accelerator components by improving the electron cooling, phase shift and structure of accelerator components. In 2007, Kyoto University began to study the early stages of the world's development, and the Ordering phase shift of the sun was precisely measured and compared with the molecular dynamics. In 2008, the horizontal direction of the distribution of particles was controlled, and the number of particles in the phase shift point was controlled.
