Genetic analyses and crossing tests were performed using euryhaline red alga Caloglossa leprieurii isolated worldwide, and the following results were obtained : (1) Apomixis occurred several times in the C.leprieurii lineages ; (2) 13 out of 18 apomictic strains were heterogeneous, and the strains from Florida and Australia were allotriploid ; (3) The homogeneous apomicts frequently produced tetraspores that grew into gametophytes ; (4) Obligate apomixis was generated through the outcrossing between the genetically divergent sexual strains.

利用广盐性红盖革菌（Caloglossa leprieurii）进行遗传分析和杂交试验，结果表明：（1）无融合生殖在盖革菌中发生多次，（2）18个无融合生殖菌株中有13个为异源菌株，其中来自佛罗里达和澳大利亚的菌株为异源三倍体;（3）同质无融合生殖体经常产生四分孢子，这些四分孢子生长成配子体;（4）专性无融合生殖是通过遗传上不同的有性株系之间的异交产生的。
