Evolutionary ecology on red algal apomixis and heterosis

对世界各地分离的赤藻进行遗传分析和杂交试验，结果表明：(1)赤藻系中出现多次无融合现象；(2) 18株无融合株中有13株是异质的，来自佛罗里达和澳大利亚的菌株为同种异体三倍体；(3)均质单合生体经常产生四孢子，并生长为配子体；(4)专性无融合是通过遗传差异性系间的异交产生的。

Genetic analyses and crossing tests were performed using euryhaline red alga Caloglossa leprieurii isolated worldwide, and the following results were obtained : (1) Apomixis occurred several times in the C.leprieurii lineages ; (2) 13 out of 18 apomictic strains were heterogeneous, and the strains from Florida and Australia were allotriploid ; (3) The homogeneous apomicts frequently produced tetraspores that grew into gametophytes ; (4) Obligate apomixis was generated through the outcrossing between the genetically divergent sexual strains.
