がんの放射線療法において、酸素分圧とグルタチオン濃度は治療効果を左右する。両者を同一個体で評価する方法を、電子スピン共鳴(ESR)画像解析法を用いて開発した。グルタチオン濃度に関係したレドックスは、ニトロキシルラジカルをプローブとして評価した。3次元ESR画像化法を用いてレドックスプローブと酸素分圧プローブの分布を同一マウスで得る方法を開発した。
