マウスのハプテン繰り返し塗布によるアトピー性皮膚炎モデルにおける未熟ミエロイド細胞の動態と役割について検討した。皮膚炎が進展するに伴って、リンパ球の増殖活性を抑制する作用を持つ未熟ミエロイド細胞が、脾臓や炎症局所組織に増加し、炎症反応のさらなる悪化を制御しているものと考えられた。今後、この機構を利用したアレルギー反応の新しい制御法の開発につながることが期待される。
