アルツハイマー病(AD)の主な病因物質であるアミロイドβ(Aβ)が、ADの発症または制御に関与していると考えられているミクログリアに作用する機序を解明する為に、Aβと結合するミクログリア膜表面蛋白質について解析した。膜蛋白質選択的に分離できるという特徴をもつSST-REX法を用いて、ミクログリア膜蛋白質を発現する細胞群を作製し、その中から、Aβと結合する細胞を単離し、ミクログリア細胞表面のAβ結合膜蛋白質を同定、解析した。
