2022年度は東アジア文化交渉学会第14回年次大会（オンライン）において、メンバー3人全員が口頭発表を行った。代表者は、「T.P.クロフォードの中国語讃美歌の翻訳と創作 ―《讃美詩》1870を中心に」と題して発表を行い、研究対象者の一人である１９世紀来華宣教師T.P.クロフォードの中国語著作《讚美詩》の成り立ちとその言語分析を行なった。先行研究や複数の目録の記述より、クロフォード編の讃美歌は上海語のものと官話のものの二冊あることがわかっているが、上海語の讃美歌はまだ見つかっていない。本発表では、当時上海で一緒に宣教活動を行っていたA.B.Cabanissが編集した上海語の讃美歌を手がかりに、その内容を比較・分析した。その結果、Cabanissの上海語讃美歌とクロフォードの官話讃美歌には8首の共通する讃美歌があることがわかり、クロフォードの官話讃美歌の成立に影響がある可能性を示唆した。また、共通部分の上海語から官話への書き換えについて分析したところ、代名詞等の語彙が書き換えられているほか、フレーズごとに別の表現に書き換えされている部分もあった。分担者二名は、同時代の資料である1９世紀の経済学に関する書物の翻訳と漢字翻訳語彙に関する論文を執筆し、『日中語彙研究』第12号（愛知大学日大字典編纂所）において発表した。さらに、同じく１９世紀の来華宣教師の妻の視点から記録された中国語に関する論考の分析や、１９世紀日本で宣教活動を行ったベルナール・プティジャン『　瑰花冠記録』（ロザリオの祈り）の翻訳語彙に関する分析も行なっている。
