本研究の目的は、談話に関わる用法など、actually, really, in fact, indeedなど文副詞類・連結副詞類・小辞類に関する理論研究と習得研究を連携して行うことにより、日本人英語学習者のこれら副詞類・小辞類の習得実態の状況と問題点を明らかにし、それをもとに、円滑なコミュニケーションに不可欠なこれら副詞類の効率的な教育・学習方法の模索・提案をしていくことである。2018年度は、英語発話コーパス（National Institute of Information and Communications Technology/ Japanese Learner English Corpus）を用いてデータを採集し、日本人英語学習者がどのようにreally, actuallyの二つの副詞類を使用しているかについて明らかにし、考察結果を11th INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE OF ENGLISH AS A LINGUA FRANCA ( King's College London, 2018, 7/4-7)で発表した。2019年度は、in factとindeedに焦点を当て、日系イギリス人Kazuo Ishiguroの小説において、それらが独特な使われ方がされていることを考察し、IAWE第21回大会(Limerick University, Ireland 6/23/2019)で発表した。2020年度および延長した2021・2022年度は、コロナ禍の中、オンライン授業対処などに多忙なため、研究が進まなかったが、2023年度は、１）今まで発表したものを論考にまとめる、２）英語に特徴的な結果構文や移動構文を形作る小辞類に焦点を当て、日本人学習者が不得意とされる小辞類の結果構文や移動構文の学習方法を考察する。

The purpose of this study is to use English, actually, really, in fact. This year will be extended to the year 202. in 2021, the training program will be more busy, the research will be completed, and the year 2023 will be completed. 1) the current calendar will be completed. 2) the results of the English study will be translated into the focus of English language training. Japanese scholars are reluctant to discuss the results of the study of small words and phrases. The results of the article show that the method of the study of literature and literature has been studied.
