To examine the efficacy and to establish of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU)-mediated gene therapy in the treatment of prostate cancer, we performed Interferon-12 (IL-12) gene therapy combined with sonoporation, using preclinical model of orthotopic murine prostate cancer.
