本研究は、看護系大学院におけるフィジカルアセスメント能力の強化を図り、看護実践能力の育成にむけたプログラム開発、教育の質向上を図ることを目的とし、平成25年度には、Advancedフィジカルアセスメント能力向上に向けて、大学院生自身がどのような課題を自覚しているかの調査を行った。分析の結果、対象の健康状態に対するアセスメント能力に対して課題があると自覚していることがわかった。また、専門的知識を活用し、現象の表す意味を明らかにする表象能力を高める思考のパターンを学ぶことも課題であると自覚していた。このことから高度看護実践を行う上で、知識を持っているだけでは限界があり、健康問題に対して事実を事実のまま報告するあり方とその状態で生活をすることなど医学・看護学的な知識を重ねて、生活者としてどのような問題を抱え、それに対してどのように支援していけばよいかを考えることについて課題があることが明らかとなった。また、アセスメントは、実際に対象や事例に対してどのような事実に対してどのように判断するかの判断過程をしっかりと示す必要があるとわかった。これを踏まえて、現行の教育プログラムは次年度以降内容の改善、単元の順序を工夫するなどプログラムをより良いものに変えていく予定とした。分析結果について、今後学会誌に投稿予定である。また、フィジカルアセスメント能力の向上に向けてシミュレーション教育等情報収集を行った。これら内容についても、教育内容に反映させていく予定である。
