平成22年度は、日本学術振興会優秀若手研究者海外派遣事業(特別研究員)の採択を受けて、平成22年3月27日から平成23年3月26日までの1年間、ギジェルモ・ウィルデ研究教授指導の下、アルゼンチン国立サン・マルティン大学社会科学高等研究所の客員研究員として在外研究に取り組んだ年であった。4月から7月にかけては、国立総文書館における史料調査に集中し、本研究課題の遂行に必要な史料の調査・収集に専念した。8月から9月上旬にかけては、ブラジルならびにペルーにて史料調査を行った。また8月30日から9月3日にかけてブラジルのマトグロッソ・ド・スル州のドウラード連邦大学で開催された第13回イエズス会布教区国際会議にて、さらに9月7日から8日にかけてペルーのリマの教皇庁立ペルー・カトリック大学で開催されたアメリカ先住民集住政策に関する国際シンポジウムにて、研究成果を発表した。9月上旬から11月半ばにかけては、再びブエノスアイレスを拠点として、史料の調査と収集に取り組んだ。また10月21日に国立サン・マルティン大学社会科学高等研究所において開催された研究会において、在外研究の成果の一部を公表した。その後は日本ならびにスペイン(11月14日から12月3日まで)、またチリ(同年12月12日から26日まで)を訪れ、本研究課題に関連する史料の収集ならびに研究者との打ち合わせを行った。平成23年1月から3月にかけては、ブエノスアイレスにてこれまで収集した諸史料の読解ならびに分析に取り組んだ。なお3月1日から12日にかけては、パラグアイにて史料収集を行った。

In 2009, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPSA) sent outstanding researchers overseas (special researchers) to Japan. March 27, 2009. March 26, 2009. During the past year, JSPSA invited guest researchers from the Graduate School of Social Sciences, National University, under the guidance of the Professor. From April to July, the National Library of Science and Technology conducted a research and collection of historical materials necessary for the implementation of this research project. In August and early September, the investigation of historical materials was carried out. From August 30 to September 3, 2013, the 13th International Conference of the Diocesan Diocese was held at the State University of California. From September 7 to 8, 2013, the International Conference of the Diocesan Diocese was held at the State University of California. Early September, November and a half months later, the collection of historical materials was collected. October 21, 2011 National University of Social Sciences Institute of Advanced Studies held a seminar on the achievements of foreign research. Later, we visited Japan (November 14-December 3) and Japan (December 12-December 26) to collect historical materials related to this research project.
