本年度は、インドネシアの国家的文脈のもとでの仏教・孔子教(儒教)・道教の動向と、華人の宗教意識との関わりを明らかにすることに専念した。この目的のため、報告者は2度(平成21年8月17日～9月8日、および平成22年2月12日～3月2日)インドネシアに渡航し、実地調査を行なった。前者の期間は、主にバリ島およびジャワ島東部に点在する30あまりの寺廟(中国寺院)の実態調査を行なうとともに、寺廟を統括する全国組織の理事らにインタビューを行なった。この調査で、インドネシア国内の寺廟のあり方の地域的特性を比較することができたのみならず、「華人の伝統的宗教」と目される寺廟組織の来歴や現状を把握し、かつ近年国家公認化された孔子教との間に生じ始めている軋轢についても実地に観察し聞き取ることができた。なお、昨年度は同目的のため中・東ジャワ州の寺廟調査を行なったが、その成果は『アジア・アフリカ言語文化研究(79)』に論文として掲載された。後者の渡航期間中は、まず報告者が2002年来調査している中ジャワ北海岸の港町ルンバンに滞在し、同地の華人コミュニティの動向について最新の情報を得るよう努めた。この調査においては、近年中央レベルで顕著になりつつある華人の社会政治団体/利益団体の動きとは異なる、ローカルな論理で展開している地方レベルの現象に焦点を当てることで、当初掲げたもう1つの課題、すなわち、日常的対面関係を超え出るような「華人」としての何らかの連帯が今日のインドネシア社会において人々の実感を伴う形で成立するかを明らかにするための、重要な視点を得ることができた。日程の後半は、西カリマンタン州のポンティアナック市およびシンカワン市で元宵節の祭を観察するとともに、ジャワとは全く異なる歴史的背景を持つ華人コミュニティの実情を知ることができ、これまで主にジャワでの調査により得てきた華人コミュニティに関する知見を対象化することができた。

This year, we are deeply concerned about the development of the Chinese religion, the trend of Confucianism and Taoism, and the relationship between Chinese religious consciousness and the development of the Chinese culture. The purpose of this report is to conduct a survey on the second day of the year (August 17, 2011 to September 8, 2011, February 12, 2011 to March 2, 2012). During the former period, the main island and the eastern part of the island were located at the 30 th floor of the temple (China temple). This survey compares the regional characteristics of temples in China with those of traditional Chinese religions, grasps the current situation of temple organizations, and recognizes the emergence of Confucius 'teachings in recent years. The results of the survey of temples in the eastern part of the country were published in the paper "Research on Speech Culture"(79). During the latter's voyage, the reporter investigated the situation in the port town of North Coast since 2002, and the latest information was obtained. In recent years, the central government has made great efforts to improve the social and political organizations/interest groups of the Chinese people. The logic of the investigation has been expanded. The phenomenon of the local government has been focused on the current situation. The daily relationship between the two sides is "Chinese" and "important." The second half of the schedule, the western part of the city, the Lantern Festival, the background of the history of the Chinese people, the main part of the investigation, the Chinese people, the main part of the investigation.
