项目摘要

本年度は昨年度より取りかかっていた、頑健な制度設計にかかわる研究、"Generic Impossibility of Partial Ex Post Implementation with General Utility Functions"(邦訳:一般的効用関数下における事後均衡の部分遂行の普遍的不可能性)の完成に向け、研究を行った。本研究の内容を説明する。メカニズムデザインの分野において、制度の頑健性は重要な問題であり、Ex Post均衡(事後均衡)は現在最も研究者の間で有力だと考えられている頑健性の概念である。しかし、各人の持つ私的情報が多次元の場合、Ex Post均衡が存在することが非常に困難であることが先行研究によってわかってきた。私は効用関数に関する不自然な仮定を取り除いたとしても、同様の結果があらわれることを数学的に証明した。本研究に関する論文執筆の過程で、東京大学大学院経済学研究科において開催されているMicroeconomics Workshop(ミクロ経済学ワークショップ)にて研究発表を行う機会を得た。この研究会において発表することで、当研究の内容を他の研究者に伝えることができた。また、参加者から様々な意見を受け取ることで、本研究がより一層深みを増すことができたことを確信している。また、私は制度設計の問題と深い関係にある繰り返しゲームに関する研究も行った。私は連続時間繰り返しゲームと呼ばれるモデルに関する重要な論文について、致命的な証明のミスを発見した。私はこれを論文にし、昨年度に投稿していたが、これは書き直しの後に掲載されることが決定された。私はこの書き直しの作業も行った。
