(1)今年度の前期は、受身を考える時、無視してならないのは敬語(待遇)表現との関わりである。「唐代の筆記・小説における"見"について」を論述した。本論文では、登場人物の直接話法を多く含む唐代筆記・小説・史書の十点の文献を資料として、「見」の字の用例を収集し、その内容を分析することにより、受身表現と敬語表現の関連を考察した。その結論は、「"見"+V」の構文で、受身を表す場合は193例があった。一方、敬語を表すのは18例であった。しかも、18例の動詞はすべて一音節の動詞であった。その際、動作主は「君・主・公」のように目上の者・身分の高い人である。その他には、会話文中では命令・依頼を表す文脈において現れることがある。そして、禁止命令文は、受身を表す「"見"+V」には現れず、敬語を表す「"見"+V」にのみ現れる。(2)後期は、「日中両言語における間接受身文についての再考察」について論述した。本論文では、自作例文のネイティブ・チェックにより、中国語の自動詞による間接受身表現の成立条件を再考察した。さらに、『微型小説』から収集した用例に基づいて、日中両言語における間接受身表現の対照研究を行った。その結論は、自動詞を用いた間接受身文については、中国語の自動詞を用いた受身文は日本語のそれよりはるかに少なく、加えて成立条件が必要である。文の構造として、大別して以下の二つの構文が成立する。(A)「N1・被N2・VR」或いは「N1・被N2・V得R」(B)「N1・被N2・這麼一V・R」。意味的な特徴としては、因果関係が含まれる被害・迷惑の意味的な表現である。
