A Study of Constructing of the Historical Ontology with Digitizing of Historical Materials

本项目在东京大学历史研究所的内联网上实现了一个名为“ArchiveHub”[数字图像存档服务器]的系统，该系统具有这些图像的元数据的控制系统。该研究所将60年来收集、积累的微缩胶片转换成日本史料的数字图像，并通过数码相机拍摄，加载到该服务器上，同时也促进了历史本体的深入研究。其原型系统可在上述内联网上查阅。

This Project realized a system named as "ArchiveHub" [archival server for digital images] on the intranet of Historiographical Institute of the University of Tokyo, which has a controlling system for the metadata of these images. As a result the digital images of historical materials in Japan, not only converted from the microfilms collected and accumulated for 60 years by the Institute, but also taken by digital camera, are loaded to this server.Simultaneously this project promoted the advanced study of the historical ontology. Its prototype system is available on the above-mentioned intranet.
