One of the outcomes of this project is to clarify that the economies located in the northeastern Asia has formed advanced economies before the rest of the economies of Monsoon Asia and face challenges concerning food, agriculture and environment commonly. The second outcome is to summarize how Japan should take the initiative among the economies in the northeastern Asia in dealing with the challenges. These outcomes were fully reflected in a report offered by the Science Council of Japan to the government as a title of" Towards enforcement of cooperation concerning food, agriculture and environment in the Northeastern".

该项目的成果之一是澄清了位于东北亚的经济体在季风亚洲其他经济体之前形成了发达经济体，并共同面临着粮食、农业和环境方面的挑战。第二个结果是总结日本应该如何在东北亚经济体中主动应对挑战。这些成果充分反映在日本科学委员会提交给政府的一份题为“加强东北地区粮食、农业和环境合作”的报告中。
