Awareness of the medical practice performed by home care nurses and their discretion, by the physicians and nurses concerned, and a development of the protocol for the role-sharing between them.

日本的家庭护理护士是在医生的综合命令下进行某种医疗实践的。医生和护士在角色分配上的认知差异不大。如果“执业护士”被引入我国的医疗保健系统，他们将被期望签发死亡证明和/或开一些药。在我们的调查中，保守的立场在这个问题上表示，不仅是医生，但家庭护理护士。

It has revealed that home care nurses in Japan are performing a certain kinds of medical practice under the comprehensive order by the physician. There was little perception gap for the appropriate role sharing between physicians and nurses. If the "nurse-practitioner" was introduced into the health care system in our country, they would be expected to issue the death certificate and/or prescribe some drugs. In our survey, conservative stance on this matter was expressed not only by physicians but home care nurses.
