David Tudor's Performance Praxis and Its Philosophy

本研究旨在通过查阅美国洛杉矶盖蒂研究所图书馆的《大卫·都铎论文》等原始文献，了解美国钢琴家、作曲家大卫·都铎（1926- 1929）的音乐活动。从乐谱、演奏笔记、音乐会节目、信件中收集的各种数据和信息被汇编成数据库，为都铎王朝的研究提供基础。对都铎所写信件的分析结果和文献资料已经公布。对文件的调查仍在进行中。

This research aims at figuring out the music activities of David Tudor(1926-29), an American pianist and composer, through consulting primary documents including the David Tudor Papers in the Getty Research Institute Library, Los Angeles. Various data and information, picked up from scores, notes for performances, concert programs, and letters, are compiled into a database, which is to provide a foundation for Tudor study. The results of analysis of the repertoire and documentation of letters written by Tudor have been published already. The investigation of the documents is still in progress.
