Research on the Organizing of Immigrant Workers and "Social Movement Unionism" in the United States

本研究从理论和实证两方面考察“社会运动工会主义”作为全球化背景下工人运动复兴的一种形式。本研究对美国旧金山湾区的一场以移民工人为主体的新劳工运动进行了调查和理论思考。从而证实了社会运动工会主义可以转变移民工人在劳资关系中的角色，并明确了工人运动在资本主义社会中的适当角色。

This research is to examine theoretically and empirically "social movement unionism" as a type of the revitalization of the labor movement in globalization. In this research, a new labor movement in the San Francisco Bay Area in the United States, the subject of which are primarily immigrant workers, was surveyed and considered theoretically. As a consequence, it is confirmed that social movement unionism can transform the roles of immigrant workers in industrial relations and make explicit the proper role of the labor movement in capitalist society.
