Ligand screening and functional analysis of Tie1

造血干细胞（Hematopoietic stem cells, hsc）是一种具有自我更新能力和多能性的克隆细胞，具有维持和修复全血系统的功能。造血干细胞的调控对血液稳态非常重要，但调控造血干细胞的确切分子机制尚不清楚。在这项工作中，我重点研究了在造血干细胞中表达的受体酪氨酸激酶Tie1。为了了解Tie1的功能，我搜索了这个孤儿受体的配体。确定了几个候选人。

Hematopoietic stem cells (HSCs) are clonogenic cells which possess self-renewal capacity and pluripotency for the maintenance and the repair of whole blood system. The regulation of HSCs is very important for blood homeostasis, however, the precise molecular mechanisms regulating HSCs remain elusive. In this work, I focused on Tie1, a receptor tyrosine kinase which is expressed in HSCs. I had searched ligands of this orphan receptor to understand the function of Tie1. Several candidates were identified.
