英文摘要
A random sampling survey of 1000 adults showed that seeing adult's Amae positively was associated with perceiving closer relationships, feeling more control, and feeling greater positive affects in Amae situations. In an experiment, participants in both the U.S. and Japan increased liking of a confederate who asked them a favor (Amae) but not when the confederate did not ask the favor. Together, these studies show that adult's Amae can enhance relationships.
