We could detect human splenic dendritic cells in the Human CD34+ cell-transplanted NOG mouse. Furthermore, we could detect human dermal DCs and/or Langerhans cells in the murine skin, during the wound repairing. These findings clearly indicated that the Human CD34+ cell-transplanted NOG mouse are useful model for HIV transmission via skin or mucosa.
